The IPC2 board drives a system made up of two centrifugal pumps, these are moved by asynchronous motor; one of these pumps in controlled on angular velocity by a frequency converter, while the other ones are supplied directly by voltage grid. This systems has to keep the pressure steady, independently from the flow.
This board is mainly used for water distribution for civil use. The output pressure is monitored by a pressure transducer, with 4-20mA output. Tho control logic changes the supply frequency, so that the motor speed increases or decreases; in this way the output pressure is steady. If the pressure decreases under a setting value, the second on/off motor pump starts. At the same way, if the pressure decreases under a setting value, the second pump switches off. It’s possible to drive one or both pumps in “manual” mode or “automatic” mode.

- Closed delivery working;
- Dry working;
- Motor and Inverter Over-temperature;
- Floater normally closed contact;
- N°2 input for pressure switch: Min P and Max P.
